Next two weeks

Hi Everyone,

Here is the information for the next two weeks for meets and practice.

Middle school meet:

• Location Oak Hall School

• 4:30pm: 4x800, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump

• 5:30pm running finals: 200m hurdles, 100m dash, 1600m run, 4x100m relay, 400m dash, 800m run, 200m dash and 4x400m relay.

• Admission $3 adults/$1 students

• This is the last meet for many of our athletes so come on out to cheer them on!

Florida Relays April 2 and 3rd:

• There is no practice on these days

• Friday evening distance carnival starts at 6:30pm. 800 meter run-Morgan, 1600m run Derek and Ben, 3200m run Meghan.

• Saturday: 9:00am 4x1600m relay girls (Meghan, Morgan, Emily, Kailyn) boys (Derek, Ben, Jordan, Garrett), 1:00pm 4x800 m girls (Morgan, Julia, Emily, Meghan), 3:10pm 4x100m girls (Adanna, Katie, Kandice and MKayla).

Spring Break Practice Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am GHS all squads

• Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 9:00am UF track all squads *remember that you cannot park at the track because UF is in school.

Alachua County Championships 3/24

The meet location is Oak Hall this year NOT the UF track!

Important Information: 

• We have new uniforms. All athletes competing in the Alachua County Championships will need to wash and return all uniforms that they have to check out a new uniform. 

• Tents!!!! We need new tents. Please let us know if we can either borrow one if you have one or if you are willing to donate one to the team. We are down to one tent!
  

Athletes Competing: Coming soon we just received word that we can add more athletes to events than we previously thought.

Admission:  $4 Adults / $2 Students   Concessions will be available

Time schedule:

• 10:30 a.m. depart PKY-it is a long day and athletes need to pack food and bring money for a dinner stop after the meet is over.

• 2:00 p.m.: Field Events and 4X800m

• 2:40 p.m.: “B” races in the following order: 100, 1600, 400, 800.

• 5:00 p.m. Finals : 100/110H, 100, 1600, 4X100, 400, 300H, 800, 200, 3200, 4X400. 
  

• Fast food stop on the way home-bring money

• Around 11:30 p.m. return to PKY
  

Other Information:

• Parking: There is no school the day of the meet, so parking will not be difficult. All team buses need to park in the special events parking area by the football stadium. 
  

• Admission: $4.00
  

• Concession stand will be open during the meet. Concession will offer chicken, hamburger, and hot dog dinners with the proceeds benefiting the track program. Please ask your parents and team to help support our track program. 
  

Middle School Meet and Santa Fe Meet time schedules

3/3/10 Middle School Meet Time Schedule:

All athletes plus HS pole vaulters will ride the bus to Oak Hall after school

4:30pm: 4x800 meter relay, long jump, shot put and discus

5:30pm: 100m dash, 1600m run, 4x100m relay, 800m run, 200m dash, 4x400 m relay

Admission $3 adults/$1 students concessions available

3/6/10 Santa Fe raider invite time schedule:

(there is no transportation to this meet athletes need to meet at Santa Fe High School in Alachua)

8:45am: Field event athletes (Long jump, shot out, discus, pole vault, high jump) and 4x800 m relay teams need to arrive.

10:00am: field events and 4x800m relay-all other athletes in the running finals must arrive by this time.

11:30: running finals begin
